Faculty of Information Technologies
At the Faculty of Information Technologies, teaching is conducted in two models: 3+2+3 or 4+1+3, which means three or four years of undergraduate study, two or one year of master's study, and three years of doctoral study. Students can choose which model they want to follow in all study programs.
Study programs for I, II, and III cycles; 3+2+3 and 4+1+3) are:
- Information technologies
- Computer systems and networks
- Software programming
Competences
Upon completion of the first study cycle of the Faculty of Information Technologies the study program, the student acquires the competencies required for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of business information systems and management of information systems and projects of medium and higher complexity as well as the possibility of continuing higher education in the second study cycle. Competences acquired by studying this program's content can be divided into general and particular. The study program aims to educate an expert who possesses the necessary knowledge of basic IT disciplines and specific skills for analyzing business processes in various industries, and who adequately projects, develops, and uses modern information technologies.
The title that a student acquires upon completing his studies is:
I cycle:
- Baccalaureate/bachelor - information technology engineer with an indication of 180 ECTS or 240 ECTS and the name of the completed study program
II cycle:
- Master of Information Technologies with an indication of the study program
III cycle:
- Doctor of Information Sciences with an indication of the study program
