Requirements and Documentation

 

Enrollment of Students for I Cycle of Studies

 

The university enrolls students based on the enrollment decision approved by the competent ministry, which includes the number of full-time students, part-time students, and, importantly, foreign nationals. We welcome students from all over the world and distance learning students if requested and approved by the decision. Candidates who have completed a four-year high school can apply for admission to the first year of study. 

Documents required for enrollment for the first cycle of studies are:

  • Application for admission to the first cycle of studies;
  • High school diploma (original/certified copy);
  • Certificates from 1st to 4th grade of high school (original/certified copy);
  • Decision on nostrification and equivalence of an educational document/request for nostrification and equivalence of an educational document (original/certified copy);
  • Certificate of passed exams for students transferring from other higher education institutions (original/certified copy);
  • Certified curriculum for students transferring from other higher education institutions (original/certified copy);
  • Birth certificate;
  • Certificate of citizenship;
  • Two 6 x 4 photos.

Candidates are registered in the first competition period within the period provided for. If the number provided is not entered in the first competition period, a second competition period is organized, providing a clear timeline for prospective students. Students who transfer from other faculties and universities are recognized for their passed exams from their previous schooling by the decision on the recognition of exams and the passing of exams with distinction made by the dean of the organizational unit based on the report for the Recognition of Exams and the Passing of Exams with Distinction made by the examination commission. The examination is recognized based on a thorough inspection of the attached documentation, which must be a certified copy or original. This includes a certificate of passed examinations from another higher education institution with achieved grades, a curriculum and program from another higher education institution in the prescribed form, and other important public documents. These documents are carefully reviewed and can be used when deciding on the recognition of an exam, ensuring a fair and thorough process.

 

Enrollment of Students for II Cycle of Studies

 

At our institution, we are committed to your success. The right to apply for admission to the II cycle of study is for candidates who have completed the appropriate undergraduate study/study of the first cycle. This could be a four-year program (with 240 ECTS credits) or a three-year program (with 180 ECTS points) for those aiming for a two-year master's degree.

Documents required for enrollment for the second cycle of studies are:

  • Application for admission to the II cycle of studies;
  • Diploma and supplement to the diploma on the previously completed study cycle (original/certified copy);
  • Decision on nostrification and equivalence of an educational document/request for nostrification and equivalence of an educational document (original/certified copy);
  • Certificate of completion of studies and certificate of passed exams for students who have not been issued a diploma and diploma supplement (original/certified copy);
  • We offer our full support to students transferring from other higher education institutions. The certificate of passed exams is required for enrollment, and we are here to guide you through this process.
  • Certified curriculum for students transferring from other higher education institutions (original/certified copy);
  • Biography (CV);
  • Birth certificate;
  • Certificate of citizenship;
  • Two photos 6 x 4 cm.

 
Enrollment of Students for III Cycle of Studies

 

Candidates who have completed the appropriate master's degree/study of the second cycle with at least 300 ECTS credits for enrollment in the third cycle are eligible to apply for admission to the third cycle of study.

Documents required for enrollment for the third cycle of studies are:

  • Application for admission to the third cycle of studies;
  • Biography (CV);
  • Diploma and diploma supplement on previously completed study cycles (original/certified copy);
  • Decision on nostrification and equivalence of an educational document/request for nostrification and equivalence of an educational document;
  • Certificate of passed exams for students transferring from other higher education institutions (original/certified copy);
  • Certified curriculum for students transferring from other higher education institutions (original/certified copy);
  • Birth certificate;
  • Certificate of citizenship;
  • Two photos 6 x 4 cm;
  • Certificate of knowledge of the English language.
